2023 end year athletics report.

 

We started the year with our usual athletics, although it was off to a slow start, we still had the privilege to deliver a Free State athlete.

 

During January our Colour Athletics was a big success and delivered 100 athletes to compete at our Zonal meeting.

 

28 athletes and 7 relay teams qualified to participate at the Fezile Dabi North meeting.

 

We are very proud of the 10 athletes and 2 relay teams that qualified for the Fezile Dabi North team.

 

Nyakallo Tshabalala, Malibongwe Mtshweni and Ryann-Lee Scheepers held the Lumies name high when they got chosen for the NFS-team that participated at the FS meeting.

 

And what a pleasant surprise when Malibongwe Mtshweni got chosen for the FS team. Congratulations once again with your special achievement, you made us so proud.
